Our trip to Punjabi

This weekend Ben and I took a short trip to India to visit a Hindu Temple.

Just kidding! We went out to the Hare Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork which is about twenty minutes south of Provo.

They were hosting Llama Fest! Llama Fest is a yearly event where all the llama owners in Utah Valley get together to display their pets, the Hare Krishnas own a couple dozen llamas themselves. The event shows off the llamas and the tricks they can do such as going through obstacle courses and racing one another.

(Ben wanted me to say that it's the shirt that makes him look chubby, but he's really not)

Did you know llamas can spit up to 20 feet??? Watch out!

I guess they were looking at something

How precious!

We even got to go inside the Temple. A Hare Krishna follower was inside doing a little Q&A session. Ben was so fascinated with all the symbolism and statues, he asked all the questions. Krishna is the little blue guy, he's their God. Krishna means most beautiful.

There was even several live bands that entertained all night long.

This place was like a zoo, there were so many animals everywhere. Can you believe the birds there could talk? They said things like "Hello" and "peek-a-boo". This guy was talking to the white one and told him he is so smart and the bird relied "I know."

Here is a cebu. Do you remember the Veggie Tales episode of the cebuuuu (singing)?

We even took a little dip in the holy pond. Ha ha ha... Just joking, but there were people swimming in the pond!

It was a hot day, I guess they needed to cool off?

We topped off the night with a late dinner at the Trolley, one section of the restaurant is part of an old trolley car. The food was okay, probably because we were really hungry.

Thanks for reading, have a good week!
